Penalaran Induktif Mahasiswa Calon Guru Matematika Dalam Pembuktian

Abstrak

Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana mahasiswa calon guru matematika menggunakan penalaran induktif dalam membangun bukti matematika. Dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui pemberian tugas dan wawancara semi-terstruktur, dari 13 subjek tingkat empat program studi pendidikan matematika. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun subjek pada umumnya menunjukkan kemampuan dalam mengenali aturan dan merumuskan dugaan, tetapi terkadang masih kurang teliti dalam berargumen. Selain itu, Subjek menggunakan wawasan induktif untuk membentuk dugaan dan kemudian menggunakan metode deduktif untuk membuktikannya. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah  pemahaman tentang bagaimana penalaran induktif dapat dikembangkan dan diintegrasikan ke dalam praktik pengajaran matematika dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan matematika.
